Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is the use of water for treatment.

Water at different temperatures can be used to change the function of our immune system, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, peripheral vascular system, and integumentary system. This action can help relieve pain, improve digestion, increase circulation, promote detoxification, increase energy, improve immune function and enhance physical mobility.

Some forms of hydrotherapy include contrast showers, Epsom salt baths, wet socks, foot baths, sitz baths, cold compresses, and saunas to name a few. Most of these practices can be done in the comfort of your own home.
