My Approach
As both a healer and someone who has experienced her own pain, I understand that it stems from multiple sources and needs to be treated with that in mind.
I will start at the beginning, I will listen to you and your needs and, together, we can find your pain’s root cause.
Chronic pain can be difficult to live with and complicated to explain. I can help you understand your condition and feel empowered to trust your own experiences. Whether newly diagnosed or suffering long-term, it’s important to understand and learn how to practice self-care.
Our journey begins with a conversation. We talk about your health history, symptoms, medications, sleep, digestion, lifestyle and environmental stressors. We perform physical exams and run laboratory tests as needed. Then, a recovery plan is created to address the root cause of your symptoms.
The recovery plan starts with the basics by addressing nutrition, exercise, sleep and mental health. We then look to tackle any excesses or deficiencies in nutrients, neurotransmitters, hormones, and vitamins that might be impacting your brain and bodily functions. Finally, we aim to reestablish the balance and function of the body’s biochemical and hormonal pathways through bodywork, acupuncture, supplementation, herbs and detoxification.
When you’re suffering from chronic pain, it can be very difficult to imagine life without it. But it isn’t hopeless. Together, we can address your pain’s root causes and help you feel like yourself again.
